• Interest-free loan: Reducing the financial burden of farmers and encouraging livestock farming
• Loan amount: Minimum Rs. 1,35,000 to maximum Rs. 2,70,000
• Repayment period: Four months with an additional grace period of one month

Targeted beneficiaries

The Punjab government aims to benefit 40,000 to 80,000 farmers through the scheme, which will include thousands of animals:

• First year: 10,000 to 20,000 farmers — 100,000 animals
• Second year: 30,000 to 60,000 farmers — 300,000 animals

How to Apply

• Farmers can easily apply through SMS:
• Step 1: Type SMS on your mobile
• PLC [space] CNIC number
• Step 2: Send SMS to 8070

Eligibility Criteria

• The applicant should be a resident of Punjab
• The mobile number should be registered and active on CNIC
• Registration in SPMS-9211 system is mandatory
• The applicant should have 5 to 10 male animals (buffalo or cow calves)
• No previous default in any government loan scheme
• Applications will be approved on a first come, first served basis
